Wetlands Worship
Last year, I started working on Wetlands Worship: an artistic research project on the speculation and revival of queer kinship with wetlands, the investigation of drained and wet swamps and bogs, the sentiments of wetland goddesses, new rituals, musical offerings and sculptural works that involve craft, fish-leather, metals, stones, waterworks, and wooden effigies.
After three international trips and shows abroad, I am now working in my studio on a new installation, a video work, several sculptures, and a music record. Before I hop over to spend a month at AIRIE Residency in the Everglades, lets make sure we see each other at my new art studio!
Come!
Have a drink, see costumes up close, watch the full Murky Murky video, see my installation-in-process, feel vibes, buy art, catch up and hang out!
There will be some bubbles! But bring yours too.
XOXO
