Dripstone is the research blog for queer visual artist, researcher, writer and curator Venus Jasper.
Dripstone began as the research-blog itallcomesdownearth.com in 2016, reporting mostly about permaculture and alternative communities. Since 2024, the content was moved into the current research depository Dripstone, as embedded on venusjasper.earth.
Here, you can find research, inspirational content, essays and behind-the-scenes content of projects covering the fields of queer ecology, more-than-human kinship, land-based wisdom, embodied rituality, neurodivergence, post-capitalist politics, queerness, performance art and cultural identity.
This online publication is a playing field. A textual garden of thoughts; alive and organic. Some texts is altered or updated over time, while others are published elsewhere in printed matter. Over here, it is on a screen, not yet set in stone.
In the coming years Dripstone hopes to grow into a wider journal with multiple contributors and authors.
Enjoy Dripstone!
